Position Overview
The Software Development team is seeking an energetic, motivated person to join their team. Responsibilities include the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of application development platforms and tools/utilities in conjunction with knowledge management responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity of working in a variety of technical environments. The person in this role will be contributing to multiple projects at the same time with varied technologies.

Familiarity with LAN & WAN environments and networking concepts. Experienced with MS Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio .NET. MS SQL, Oracle, Client/Server & Internet/Intranet development concepts. Strong design and analysis skills. Strong problem solving and debugging skills. Ability to quickly understand, apply and adapt to new/emerging technologies. Understanding of development projects within the organization. Application development skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven project management skills. Ability to prioritize workload and multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well within a team. Ability to plan and estimate own work. Ability to work effectively with minimal direction.

Position requires a minimum of BSc Computer Science or BSc Computer Engineering or Equivalent.
